PIR Day 1: Homework

Create your agreed upon vignette in 1 of 3 areas:

1. Create a situation or story where you will need to use the “sling shot method” to solve an technical issue. To solve this issue we need the solution to be compartmentalized, rooted in incremental learning, and goal-oriented.

2. Create a vignette where you might need the warm demander, a reset button, or peer-to-peer mentoring. This can be based on a real life situation you have experienced in the classroom, or a story that you create. Leave the solving open ended, and create the story to allow teachers to discuss how they might solve this using the new frameworks.

3. Create a vignette of a student who might need an accommodation or modification. This can be based on a real life story you have experienced or one you might imagine could arise in the classroom.
